Is anyone else tired of the expected from Bradley’s line-up? Granted, we have a strong record going but this is CONCACAF and it will definitely be different in the World Cup.
Kljestan is OK but OK at best right now. He had two solid games and then dropped off dramatically. Good skill but lacks the speed needed in Europe or South America to compete which is where Torres is a much better selection.
I don’t have faith or confidence in Hejduk, nothing against him except that he over commits and fouls if a player gets past. He is a solid MLS-er but there is a reason he is in the MLS.
Ching has his brief moments but, again with the broken record, will have way too many issues against European physical defenders and he will back off for sure. He gets a bit timid under high pressure and then the offense suffers.
Insert Jozy and we are a completely different squad which is huge. He is a change of pace player and has little to no fear at going at defenders.
You can really tell who excels in these moments and players with confidence are, we need more of them to really feel that success. Now is a time for leaders to step up and drag the others by hook or by crook up to par. If they are not coming, get someone in who will step up.
